  • Sept. 30th 16:30-18:30 – Helen Pankhurst to speak to the Anglo-Swedish Society (after the Gothenburg Book Fair). Come and meet the author of Deeds Not Words: The Story of Women’s Rights – Then and Now. This free talk is hosted by the Anglo-Swedish Society and Gothenburg University. Campus Haga, Sprängkullsgatan 19.
  • Nov 15th Annual Dinner (NQAC) – celebrating 300 year anniversary of the end of the Golden Age of Pirates with our play ‘The Strange Story of how the British Ambassador met the Pyrates of Gothenburg and defeated the Danes’. (Rehearsals start soon if you would like to join the cast – let us know. There is always room for more pirates!)

Our book club has a MeetUp page We meet on the third Tuesday of the month starting at 18:30. There are usually about 8 to 10 people at any one meeting. We discuss the book for about one hour and then ‘fika’.
